Since 2003 I have specialised in working with Pub Company and Brewery executives and their licensees. I advise on how to maximise the revenue opportunities offered by marketing letting rooms in pubs.

This has involved:

  • helping tenants/lessees who are struggling to make the returns expected
  • carrying out investment feasibilities
  • making marketing plans for new or re-launched businesses

My last corporate role was as Marketing Director for both Glendola Leisure and Hotel Management International, where I learned to appreciate the benefits from a pub/hotel synergy, both in the UK and The Netherlands, Prior to that I was Director of Marketing for a hotel company operating hotels across the South Pacific, where I helped launch many new hotels and restaurants.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and author of the book “Putting Heads on Beds – the complete practical guide to marketing your independent hotel or guest accommodation”, which is available through bookstores and online retailers.
